Firearms WTB/WTT for Rem 700 or 700 footprint SA in Arizona

Looking to buy or trade for a Remington 700 or Remington 700 footprint short action or even a barreled action. My preference would be a trued and blueprinted Remington 700 short action but I'm open to good custom actions based on the Remington 700 footprint such as Defiance Machine / Surgeon 591...

SAKO TRG-42 question on cheek adjustment

A cheap solution that I used on mine was rubber pads, the type the use on conveyers, they come in different thicknesses and I cut spacers from a piece of conveyer belt until I had the height liked. It's a little crude but it works.

AI AX Chassis 2.0 Short Action - Value

I need some help with determining the value of an AI AX Chassis, it's the 2.0 (folding version) for Remington short action, it's the older MK I version. I can get one in black, new in the box at my local gun store. It has been sitting in the corner for a few years and the gun store owner is...

Rifle Scopes Help me find a LR Hunting Scope

I agree with most of the options recommended above. Since you said that budget doesn't matter I would recommend the Schmidt & Bender 4-16x56 PM II Ultra Bright Tremor3, I run one on my 7mm Practical hunting rifle, best low light performance in my opinion, amazing clarity and low light...

Trying to decide on a spotting scope

At the lower end of your budget I would recommend the Bushnell Elite Tactical 8x-40x with the H-32 reticle, they can be had for around $1000. Here is one on ebay for around that amount...

    Rifle Scopes Scope mounting issue/solution

What about a using a Feeler Gauge, it's the best tool for measuring and adjusting the spark plug spacing. I have one in my scope mounting kit and use it for scope leveling between the bottom of the scope and a Picatinny rail (MIL-STD-1913).

Rifle Scopes Weaver Tactical 1-5 or 1-7 opinions????

Well that changes things a little bit I guess, sorry was thinking you got a pistol with like a 10.4" barrel. I have a couple of Weaver Tactical scopes and for the money some are very good. I really like my 3-15x Weaver Tactical with Illuminated EMDR Reticle, I run it on a Tikka Tactical .223...

Rifle Scopes Weaver Tactical 1-5 or 1-7 opinions????

If you picked up an AR pistol I would recommend a red dot or holographic site like an Aimpoint or Eotech, with the short barrel of the AR pistol you will limit the effective range of the 5.56 cartridge and a red dot or holographic site might be a better than a LPVO. I have used the Weaver...
