Has anyone used this combo in an 8 twist? I'm shooting them coated in hBN and starting at 23.5 and going to the case neck 25.5+/-. With these suckers being pricey and all I'm certainly receptive to advice.

3 months of waiting for my barrel and my gunsmith work paid off yesterday! I still have to inlet my stock a bit more for a good free float, but I wanted to throw it all together for a quick pic. Also, once I get the stock done I'll be painting the barrel black. Thanks to a bunch of guys here...

Well, after what feels like forever, my 223ai is finally complete. The first gunsmith I took the components to did a fine job of truing everything up, but the barrel was chambered incorrectly and the brass would blow in half. Unfortunately, the problem was not corrected in a satisfactory manner...

Has anyone used both these chambering's, and what is the realistic velocity difference between the two? I'm trying to decide which reamer to run into barrel that will arrive in a few weeks. It's an 8 twist barrel and I will probably use the 75gr A-Max as my primary bullet in the rifle. Thanks.
