    Range Report SMK bullets for hunting

    Has anyone had experience with Sierra MatchKing bullets for hunting varmints. I have a 22-250 that I shoot 80 grain SMK's with. I would like to be able to shoot only one bullet with this gun. Is this 80 grain bullet capable to taking say coyotes and smaller? Thanks for the advice!!

    Range Report 6.5 Bullets at > 3100f/s?

    Good day, Anyone play with the 6.5 caliber 123gr. weight bullets at velocities over 3100f/s? Looking at some QL results, and can get to 3300f/s without too much effort. Just wondering if they made it to 100 and if they held together to 1k. Thanks, DocB

    Range Report 6.5x47 and 140gr bullets

    I would like to get 140gr 6.5mm bullets going around 2800 - 2850fps. I’ve read that for the 6.5x47 Lapua, bullets less then 140grs is a better choice. However I still see people shooting the 6.5x47 with 140gr bullets around .260 speeds. I think that I have the Zak Smith 6.5mm shoot out...

    Alternative .408 bullets

    I know some of you are not aware that Rocky Mountain Bullets in Philipsbug, MT. (406)498-1934 are making .408, lead core-copper jacket match grade bullets, 420gr., 874 bc bullets. Just alittle FYI for for the .408 cheytac shooters.

    Berger's New 140gr 6.5mm bullets - How are they?

    The brown truck came today with the New Berger 140gr 6.5mm bullets that some of us will be testing and evaluating. First impression - long and sleek! I compared them vis-a-vis with a Lapua 139gr Scenar and a Sierra 142gr MatchKing. Using randomly picked bullets, I got OAL's as follows...
