105 Scenars in 243 Win Load Data

I looked at the data on Lapua's website and all they reference is the Vitavhouri powders. Does any one have any other load data for the 105 Scenar's in a 243 Win. Can I substitute load data for berger and Amax 105's?

Yes, use 105 data and drop back a grain or two and work back up. Any of the 105 - 107 data will get you started with the powder of your choice. You can look at Hodgdon's page http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp page for a good starting point for any of their powders. You can also try the reloading section just above in this forum.

H4350 has worked well for me in 243 w/105 A-max. Going from memory but want to say 42.5gr in Lapua brass with GM210M.
Would suggest starting about 40 gr and working up in 0.5 gr increments until you get desired accuracy/velocity.

41-43gr RL22, Ramshot Hunter, and IMR 4350. My load is 42.5gr RL22 just work them up as usual. Mine are for 105 Berger.

Just started shooting the 105 Lapua's. Used the same load that I
use with the A-Max 105 & the 107 Sierra.

Good bullet and was very consistant. 47gns of RL-25 out of a
28 in barrel gave me good results at 600 yds.

I run 39.5gr H4350 with berger 105s, Lapua brass, CCI BR-2s, .010" into the lands. Alternate load is 42.0gr H4831sc and same remaining components. I get pretty good barrel life (2000+) and a velocity around 2950 fps with 27" barrel.

Retumbo has been working well for me since the disappearance of the N550.

105 VLD's with 47.2 Retumbo gets me to a 1000 yards with out a problem.

WIN brass and a CCI BR2 and 48.5 gr. Retumbo with a 105 Berger .005 into the lands gets me right at 3000 fps from a 24" AR10T. Scary accurate too and does well to 1K.

105's with H4350 or H1000. H1000 produce some tight groups but is a little slower in speed. Both do great to 1K

With 105gr Hybrids and 105gr Nosler's I'm using 45.5gr of N160 in Win brass and Wolf LRM primers. They are molly coated. No reason why this wouldn't work with the Scenars. They still thump the berm at the 1000yd line. Believe velocity is around 3,250 fps out of my 32" 1:8 Kreiger.
