Well I finally got my new hunting/play rifle finished. I have been working on this thing for 10 months. I have been hunting and carrying around my 26" barreled comp rifle and decided no more. I wanted something that I could spin my can on and still be shorter than my other rifles. Also I wanted the weight to be done from 16lbs to 10 or less. I mainly had this rifle built as an all purpose hunting rifle. I mainly hunt hogs, deer, and coyotes. I think this fits the bill.

The hammer is for my yard sign I use for paper targets. It has been awhile since we have got any decent rain. The ground is a bit hard.

Kampfield takes about a week. He is fast and a super nice guy.

I'm itching to build a shorty but spent too much money already this year on guns so I have to wait a while. I keep thinking I want an mtu contour but I know a varmint contour would be best to keep weight down.
