I have a chance to buy 1500 175 gr Sierra match King’s. Bottom of the bullet is concave instead of flat. What are these. I cannot weight them because I do not have a scale near me. The owner is telling me they are Sierra Bullets. Could possibly be very old. I could try to send a picture.

Some companies have "recessed" based FMJ bullets but I've not seen SMK 175's like that. Pics please if possible

Maybe theY are notSMKs, maybe they are FMJs. What do you think

Thanks for the pics. The idea is to get a better gas seal supposedly. I haven't seen SMKs like that. Contact Sierra or take an ogive measurement and weights of a few.

Here you go

Don’t have access to a scale right now. I know that normal 175 SMKs do not have a concave base. The holes in the tip looks smaller than normal also. The old guy that I am buying them off of doesn’t quite remember what they are or where he got them. At $.05 apiece I should be able to find something That will shoot them
