1946 Willys Jeep

I just went down to Colorado and traded my 2005 Kawasaki Prairie for this monster this weekend. I cant wait to find time to get it out on some trails. It has a chevy 350 with the holley projection, disk brakes all around, locked front and rear, onboard air, dana 44 up front and 14 bolt in the rear as well as a 10,000lb pto winch. I figure I did alright since I dont use the atv very often. Also rolling on 38" super swampers and it came with a brand new spare. I am kind of excited to use it.

I used to have a 1946 and 1/2 Willy's. At least that's how the title read. It almost killed me twice, but it was fun.

Nice looking ride! Looks like it is serious enough to get stuck far enough back in to make for a lot of fun getting out too. Don't recall seeing a Dana 44 with 8 lugs, custom axle etc. I guess. How much suspension travel?

nice rig! picked up my Willy's in June. Not as built as yours and I take sucky pics!

Buick V6, Turbo 350 trans. Should be a fun huntin rig. Enjoy yours!

Nice Willy's and heck of a deal if you traded straight up, imo. Little brother has a Willy's Wagon 4x4 he's been working on, off and on, for about 10 years. Only problem is the body on his has the cancer real bad and he knows nothing about doing body work so he really needs to find a donor body to go with the drivetrain he's built. You will have a lot of fun with that ride.

Yes straight across trade and I will get some trail pics up as soon as I find time to use this. As far as the dana 44 goes you can pretty much do anything I guess with custom and fabing.

Ford and Chevy both made 8 lug 3/4 ton Dana 44 front ends.
