When you paint your stock with Krylon. I would highly suggest you hit it with some clear coat. Sucks to be out shooting on a hot day and pull away with a green cheek!

Highly recommend trying H4831sc, Sierra Matchkings(142grns) and Remington 9 1/2 primers.

lol KYS i was shooting the .22 today and i didn't get green cheek but it was getting sticky. i'm going to hold off on the painting for a while and test out a few clear coats on the .22 first

well its been a while and ive been slacking on updating my thread. My base came in and got all my reload equipment to outfit my setup for 260, got my brass, powder, primers, and a case of 140amax.

here are some current pics of my baby, she is just screwed together for looks now but she is almost done

it may be too tall but you can use the cheek riser from the old ultimate varmint and the ultimate sniper stocks they will fit right on just drill a small gole for the screw.

Well i've been busy for a LONG time lol.

I got the rifle put together at the RCSC shoot in september and rang steel out to 1100 yards. "with a 1st round hit BTW

well took it out to the range yesterday and shot a 1.7" group at 600yds. I am loving my 260 more and more.

just a few things still left to do.

will take rifle pics tomorrow.

One thing i am wondering is if the stock you used is available for the remmy 700 sa. I would love to find one but a google search came up empty.

atlas AFAR kit ( modified to fit)

Paint is just spray paint, done myself as the black was just ugly. once finished it will get a proper paint job.
