Not sure which bullet you're running? Alliant has some charges listed on their website. If you are running the heavier bullets (120+), you'll give up some velocity with R15.

what would be the best powder and bullet? I am going to be shooting these out of a gap ar10.

H4350 is going to be your best bet. R17 is a good one also. I'm not sure how the pressure curve is on R17 for a semi auto, though. You might want to check with Alliant on that.

H4350, Ramshot Hunter in the low 40's with the 140-ish LR bullets, and SST.

I missed the bullet part. If you wanted to run with R15 powder, the bullets in the 100-120 grain weight would work. Some guys run the 120 or 123 grain bullets out of their AR very well.

I suspect you might like the HDY 95gr V-Max with RL-15. I run 47.0gr of H4350, the Hodgdon published <span style="font-style: italic">minimum</span> load for the bullet and powder; simply because I'm a bit leary of running loads much faster than 3400-3500fps through a 28" 1:8" twist barrel.
