That’s how you shoot a group. Squeeze, settle the reticle and squeeze again, and repeat. None of this shoot one wait 2-5 minutes and shoot again and repeat.

I built it to shoot it matches where the COF is 15-20 shots in 90 seconds. Doesn’t doo much good to see how it groups with a full cooldown between shots.

If I slowed down a little I’m confident things would shrink to sub-MOA for a 10 shot.

Starting to feel like I'm struggling a bit.
20" Krieger M110, JP HP bolt, Aero M5 enhanced upper and handguard
Aero M5 lower, Larue MBT2S.

Small base die, bumping .004", Fed brass and CCI 250s. Trimmed on a Henderson.

The 169s show promise and the 175 Noslers as well. Looks like I need to back down on powder charges very slightly across the board. I also kind of suck at shooting a large frame gasser. I can shoot half minute with my bolt guns pretty regularly.

Shooting off a Harris and Protektor F class rabbit ears rear bag. PRS lite stock. Some of those fliers are me fighting with position. (Off a concrete bench), I did notice shooting prone things tightened up a bit.

Any thoughts, currently just loading everything to max mag length, haven't tried many powder charges but I would've thought with the Krieger I'd have se nice clover leafs with something at this point.

I have and shoot more than 1 Harris, so not knocking them.

Harris is tougher to load and has more hop than others. Esp on concrete.
an Atlas CAL or Accutac will likely shoot better.
Others probably too and havent used em.

Thats been my experience. Gas and bolt guns

And this is the replacement barrel, right?

Obviously all rifles are different, but ive had good success with the 168gr tmk out of the seekins i posted in here. IMR4064 42.7 and 43.1 were outsanding and single digit SD. I still plan on playing with seaing depth, but they shot very well. I had a stock armalite that shot the exact same 43.1gr 4064 load better than anything else i tried. All loaded to 2.800 at the moment. I tried the 169gr smk with the 4064 and the seekins didnt shoot it well at mag length. (1-1.5moa).

I've had several AR10 type rifles in the past and always got rid of them because of the weight. I decided to build a lighter weight AR10/AR308 pattern rifle and it came in at 7.8lbs bare, 10.4lbs loaded. I can't complain. Great shooter and very handy. View attachment 8597940
What gas block and buffer spring combo you running? I Just ordered a WC 16” 6.5cm barrel as well.

I'm running a carbine tube, spring, short AR10 buffer and I believe SLR adjustable gas block. So far it runs great.
Ok cool that’s what Wilson recommended as well all the same parts. Which ammo are you using? Or you reload? They have a good variety test but most of my factory ammo is Hornady 140 and 147gr.

I reload. 43.5grs of H4350 under a 123gr ELD-M is very accurate and scooting along about 2600fps. Working on Barnes 127gr LRX and Nosler 129gr LRAB loads. Just a fun little project. Most all my hunting will be less than 500 yards, so don't need anything too heavy.
