308 load with 185 lapua???

i got 1000 of these and need a starting point

tried to search but either i am stupid or noone else is shooting these bullets . . .

Try searching "185+scenar' in the advanced search for this Reloading forum. Page 1 and 4 have some specific data for this bullet.

I like 41.5grs of VV150 with the 185gr skinnies.

I am also curious of a load for the 185gr lapua D46 (not scenars).
Preferably with Varget or 4895

I cannot seem to find any load data for this bullet whatsoever.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just load them between 180gr and 190gr, splitting the difference, but start low, as always and work up.

Not that difficult.

I can give you VV powder data, but use 180gr SMK load data if you have it and go a little bit light.

They sail in my 1:10" Savage 10FP LE2b.

on my TR rifle I am sending both D46 and Scenars with MOLY and N150 @ 43.3 its running 2610fps but the SD is 10.48 30 in barrel

Groops aprox the same as Chris 1/2 MOA or Better

49g n550, lapus brass, 185g molly scenar, cci br av vl 2,680fps very accurate load in my 24in barrel 1 in 11 twist 308.

I loaded some 185 scenars with lapua brass and 44.0 grn of Varget, 210 gmm primers and it was too hot for my rifle. It left ejector marks.
