338 Lapua reloading Dim

Does any one have the brass dim for reloading the .338 Lapua? I am having a hard time finding a sketch of the brass with tolerances. Any help would be appreciated.

Well both of those are not help full. I do not have a Sierra book or an account on that linked web site. I have the Lyman book, but it does not have the 338 in there. If someone has the page in one of their books it would greatly help and I could start loading.

If you are talking about the length of the case, you need a chamber length gauge, www.sinclairintl.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=RESDTCL&type=store. If you go to Varmental.com, there is an article that tells you how to make one.

OK so I found it.
max length is 2.724
Trim length is 2.714

You might want to check your chamber with a chamber gauge. You probably can let your cases stretch out a little farther than what the general specs call for. Just be sure to allow .010 for case expansion.
