Rifle Scopes 42mm & 50mm objective mount height for AI AT and AR10/flat top rail

Hey everyone,

I read through many pages and searched as well but apologies if I missed a thread on this topic. I'm curious what those of you who have a 4-16 atacr on an AI AT (low scope rail and no NV) and/or an AR10 with a continuous rail are using for ring/mount height.

I'm looking to get the scope as low as possible for each setup so any help here would great, thank you! Pictures would be great too.

I would do the measuring but I dont have the scope yet, and with the quarantine it gives a little time to shop around for mounts.

Im thinking:

AR10:
X50 - 1.35-1.375
x42 - 1.1-1.2

AI AT:
x50 - 1.1
x42 - 1.1 or less

Here’s a x50 in 1.375 rings obviously 0 Moa

You might be able to go a little lower I had a 3.5-15x56 NXS in a 1.375 20 moa mount on a ar10

That's a 50mm objective in a 20moa warne mount. 30mm main tube.
