Just opened up a box of lot #4647 6.5 140 hunting vlds and weighed and measured 10 or so. They are 1.398 to 1.400" long. Litz has them listed at 1.421". I know that lots will vary but jeez. 20/1000" is a good bit. They all weighed +~.1 grain with most being right at 140 even. Do you think Berger made them shorter to accommodate slower twists??
