Good afternoon gents.
Been shooting prs for about a year now and been running 147 gr eld at 2755 fps. They've been great getting me several top ten finishes in regional club matches. Have ran about 2k 147s through my Bartlein in the last 6 months.
Lately I've been thinking I would drop to 130s for less recoil. Berger 130s aren't available in my area so I'm settling on 130 eld.
Anybody loaded these w/H4350 and had acceptable results?
Looking at load data it looks like you could use either Varget or H4350 for decent speeds.
I'd prefer to use H4350.
Anybody care to share some experience?
Looking to get 2850-2900 fps.
Will be fired out of a Defiance with 26" bartlein M24.

No experience with the 130 eld, but the 130 hybrids are phenomenal. 39.5 varget gets me 2900 FPS with lapua brass in a 26” bartlein, and I have room to go up for sure. I think 3000 FPS would be doable with the right powder.

It seems like varget provides more speed but I'd really rather not switch powders for 6.5
