These were in use in the eighties, in between segments, when Pat Robertson and Ben Kinchlow were the hosts (just found out that they both passed away).

They went something like:

You drive a low, fast car.

You are the boss’ favorite,
You have the best backhand in the club.
But are you happy?
No, you are not happy.
REEEAAAD the Bible…
…and get to know the man behind the book.

You might try Youtube for his shows and watch them, the intermissions might be in there.

Personally, I think Pat was one of the better ones. Once when I was going through a rough time I wrote him and got a hand written note back. Jim and Tammy Baker, Jimmy Swaggert, and their ilk were a different level, pretty much white trash fleecing the suckers.

My family liked the show from that period because it seemed like a “common sense moral compass” even though we didn’t always agree with everything they said - it was something one could watch and dwell on without getting…

…radicalized.
