Bullet bc. Length
69smk .323 .900
69tmk .355 .982
77smk .371 .994
77tmk .395 .994
All from applied ballistics
So the 69tmk has a bc close to the old 77smk, but is only slightly shorter.
77tmk has a better bc and is the same length.
Do the tmk shoot as good as the smk?
Seems like for an AR15 the logical choice would be the shorter 69smk for powder volume or 77tmk for bc?
Of course bolt guns should favor 77tmk.

How any of them shoot depends on your rifle. I’ve got good factory ammo with all 3 bullets, they all shoot sub MOA in two AR’s with Compass Lake match chamber barrels. At my altitude (8000’) the 77tmk Black Hills load with a muzzle velocity of 2900 fps is still (barely) supersonic at 1200 yds. I recently got a few hits on steel at 1200, I could see the steel move, and hear the hits (shooting suppressed).

Try them all and see what works. Depending on the range you can shoot at, and what works in your rifle, pick a good one and develop a good load. Buy a bunch, and shoot a lot.

I shoot all youve mentioned above except the 69 tmk , just haven't got around to trying those yet. They all shoot good out of my mk12s but the tmk does a bit better at longer distances in my rifles. I hear alot of feedback that they don't shoot well and I've not found that to be the case .
