You can't seriously fucking believe that, right? Libertarians are against our endless wars and spending in the Middle East, and other forms of intervention. Basically, stop being the fucking world police and let other people deal with shit for once. There isn't a single Libertarian I'm aware of that doesn't believe in the National Defense.
That sounds a hell of a lot like, not-a libertarian, not-a-real-Republican D.J. Trump...?
Total bullshit. Libertarians don't own the judicious use of force, period. Even Jefferson attacked the Barbary Pirates. I've never heard of ANY conflict that libertarians supported. You can say that's because there's never been one worth fighting in your life, or whatever, but it's an empty platitude whereas Trump actually made this a policy.
Also, we're not now and have never been the "world's policeman". A policeman implies that there is some sort of organization that exercises police powers in pursuit of a common understanding of "justice". There isn't and there has never been, and there probably never will be, because our cultures on this rock are so very different.
What we are is more of a Territorial Marshal that goes out into the lawless wilds and drags criminals back to be judged by the civilized. Someone has got to do it and put out the little brush fires or history is unequivocal that they will become full blown infernos. What would history have been like if Hitler was crushed in his cradle by the French when he rearmed the Ruhr Valley?
Lots of times we fight for the history that isn't written, and if you think you have the lock on deciding when and where that is I have a bridge to sell you. When the whole country believes there is nothing worth fighting for you will get your wish, and that's right at the point where everything will colapse. Just as ANTIFA and BLM hate this country and it's people, when this becomes the norm, and those of us who love it are outnumbered by the pacifists and anti-Americans, we're finished. It's a lot close than it was, but it's not today.
