Will do, green stock is in the mail and I have an extra set of black stocksides. Will see how it looks to my eye and see where to go from there.

Thanks!

The problem is your chassis was painted in H-250 AI Dark Earth, which surprisingly ISN'T the Dark Earth that AI's are painted lol

And like I've told u before, I actually like the "non AI, AI FDE" better than the actual AI FDE.

Yes, Rick has come up with a recipe to color match Elite Sand
Dammit Sam, you’re supposed to say no so I don't fuck around and buy one 😂

If I ran MLOK weights, will I have any issues pulling the barrel with the enclosed forend?

Just got my AI AT and AI action rail. The screws AI provided do not all look the same. Two are fine and two are like pot metal and began stripping under only light finger tightening (using a hex bit for a driver - not an Allen key) . The package contained two smoothly finished screws and two that are rough looking - almost like they’ve been used in other rifles.

Does anyone know the screw spec so I can drive 30 miles to fastenal and buy screws for my brand new $4500 rifle?
Goddamn that’s brutal. Really sorry to hear that.

@Eurodriver i believe they are M4 cap screws. It’s easy enough to measure (in metric) with a set of calipers to get the correct length.

You’ll probably want to call up Mile High or AINA to get a replacement anyway, it’s likely whatever you get locally will be black oxide and prone to rust over time.

What boots is your boy wearing with those vibram soles?
I honestly have no
Idea. I believe he has said they are roofing boots in the past. Here is another pic showing them more.

Smart man!

Any shooters lose their rigs over that roof edge?
Not that I’m aware of. But lots of brass went over.

They took it away from him...;)
I almost didn’t post that photo for that reason. On some of the stages that did not have a pistol element the ROs asked for us to bag our pistol to feel safer. So that’s what you see here.

However any stage with pistol before rifle you would have to remove mag show clear and dump it in a bucket before moving to rifle.

Ultimately it makes for photos that I’m not a fan of. But I understand Saftey first. And although I’m confident in my weapon manipulation skills and my holster. I wouldn’t be in all be ones I saw at the match.

If you look a little closer you can see I still have a chamber flag in too. I forget why we had to leave it during the movement on that stage. But some we started bag in bolt back. Some where mag out no chamber flag. Some where mag out chamber flag in. Just all depended on the RO and physical side of the stage.

So we have a couple 264 1-8 twist proof cf blanks at work someone put an order in for but never picked up. Thinking about having them threaded for my AX, who would you guys recommend?

Better match than I thought. Happy with how this turned out. Was not really the biggest fan on the normal AT stock. Bought the fixed because I knew I could do this.

419 hellfire match is in the mail and that should be it. For now….

TriggerCam on a NF ATACR at 25x at 1,000yds. AXMC in 300PRC shooting a 2/3rds IPSC using a factory Hornady 225gr ELDM. I didn't trust AB solution and dialed down 0.2mils, which was the 1st hit low right you can see when the plate recoils from the 2nd hit. My fault on the elevation call as it was a good 40 degrees colder today.

If you look at a larger version of the video on YT, just as it starts you can see (left side of video) a guy breaking a 4" clay on the back berm at 1,035yds with his 338L.

I'll dial it back to 15-20x the next range session so I can get some good trace videos.

Asked my shooting buddy to get an action shot of me and of course, he caught the guy photobombing us with his arse.

Hey man, don't hate.....that's a nice photobomb-arse!!
