Good day to be out ringing steel at 1k. The temp was in the low 70's and the wind was gusting to 45mph.

Fantastic book. Can’t recommend it enough for those who want to read about the history of AI and it has some amazing photography as well.
I have the book also. I’m hoping to read it this holiday season.

20" Bartlein barrel wasn't shooting up to par, had close to 3500 rounds through it, had to pull it and put on a new Proof straight contour 24" CF 6.5CM Chambered by GAP. Swapped to my TBAC Ultra 9. Took the 3-12x50 and put back on the 5-25 PMII. Installed the Sawtooth 12" ARCA rail and now running a Gen 2 Cyke Pod. Amazingly, it probably dropped 3lbs or so off the rifle.

Yea...so what's up with that SB I'll take it

Garbage man picked it up already. Thought everyone was ZCO and NF were all the rage now. Internet peoples(aka The Poors) tell me S&B =garbage because it tunnels.

Can confirm… the S&B 5-25 w/ DTII+ turrets I just bought from Euro is trash. Gonna follow your lead and throw it out

I gotcha 5 dollars for it. I'll even pay shipping. No need for insurance on that thing.

@HD1911 these rifles are bonded to the chassis. Unless you have reason to suspect your AI has been through hell 3 times and back, I wouldn't worry about the action screws. As for the other questions I do not know. How long is that barrel by chance?

A couple questions if I may…. does anyone know the optic rail screw torque spec? And do most blue loctite them? Also, I’d like to check action screw torque, for piece of mind, if it’s even necessary? Is it easy enough to do that? Do I need any special (longer than normal) hex driver or anything? Sorry, I don’t know shit about AI’s, and been searching for awhile now and can’t really find much.
Congrats!!! Here’s one I found a while ago and screenshot

Gotcha, thank you. It’s a 20” 1:12. Getting ready to list it up with the area 419 hellfire now. Thought about just keeping it and shooting the shit out of it, but I dunno. I’d rather take the proceeds and buy more 6.5 ammo with it.
Sent ya a pm lol

Anyone got a spray can color that close to elite sand yet? Got a rifle coming and wanted to see if I could match the optic.

Thanks

So I miss my AX terribly and pondering selling off some stuff to fund an AT again.

Can someone with an AT measure from the front of the mag well to the tip of the stock? Trying to get an idea of length compared to some stocks I own. My major gripe about my AX was stability in different positions.

Used AT + AO/Vision chassis + AX butt stock = done.

11.5", with comparisons.
