I must be the only AI shooter who rarely swaps his barrel, and very rarely in the field.

You are not. I have 2 AT’s and only shoot a single caliber in each of them so the barrels are very rarely removed.

The AXSA just got a straight tube 6.5. I wish it was 7 or 7.5T but at the time of ordering I got an 8T with plans to only shoot 140s. Going to try the 153s, but I’m not too confident they’ll stabilize properly.

Barrel is THICK. Makes the AXSR HV barrel look tiny

So I went ahead and ordered an L. E. Wilson expander die and mandrel as well as a case gage. They are on the way. I will see what the expander mandrel does and go from there. I wanted the Sinclair Gen 2 expander die and mandrel but they have been out of stock for a while. I have a feeling I will be ordering more mandrel and case gages in the future. I will also be full length sizing all cases from now on before I prime them.
