ARCALOCK Rail for AI AX
Over the years we have seen a lot of Accuracy International rifles at matches, and every time we’ve been annoyed watching shooters try to navigate the big plastic booger in front of the magwell. anyone else’s quick-loc screw squeak when the loosen the screw? I torque mine to 45in-lbs but twice now when loosening it squeaks and damn near sounds like it’s stripping
Use some lube or spit. That'll fix it for ya...
And aren't the specs 53in lbs with that rifle?
53in lb is for the r700 chassis’s. Fix it sticks has a specific 49in lb limited for the AI
Correct. 49in lb is for the quick loc screw for the barrel. The 53in lb that was mentioned by NoLegs is probably in reference to the AICS chassis that AI made for the R700’s since that’s what they had in the manual for those chassis’s. I’ve had a few and had to buy the specific limiter for the chassis too.I do believe he's talking the screw for the quick change barrel.
I threw some 5w-30 on the screw quick-loc screw and it fixed the issue
Nah. I like my screws to be with a WAPDef wipe off the excess

I didn’t realize he had an AXSR/ASR. Thought he was talking about an AT/AX. My bad manI was talking in regards to what my ASR manual says. Which is 53in lbs. Thought the AXSR would be the same.

For what ever reason, this AI AWM has been misgendered as a Remington? I almost bought it regardless to add another AI to the collection. Even comes with a real sniper scope. Probably mil dot, MOA turrets
This rifle might bring Remington back from bankruptcy
We test that all the timeAnyone dares to bang the butt stock to see the trigger go off?
LEGO will definitely not be too happy about this.Remington might be getting sued again....
Speaking of AIs and BRs I’ve got a few br and dasher barrels for AXs on my shelf, each one has less than 200 rounds through them and I moved to 6x47 so they are just taking up space. I’ll make anyone in this thread a killer dealQuestion for the BR guys here, has anyone used the PVA kit? Does it work well? I don’t know how I feel about trimming my follower but I also don’t know if I want to wait forever for the HRD kits to come back into stock. Thoughts?
I’d take one of the 6BRs PM incoming.Speaking of AIs and BRs I’ve got a few br and dasher barrels for AXs on my shelf, each one has less than 200 rounds through them and I moved to 6x47 so they are just taking up space. I’ll make anyone in this thread a killer deal
If I wasn’t picking up a killer deal on a BRA barrel, brass, and a die, I’d be all over this for a BR barrel lolSpeaking of AIs and BRs I’ve got a few br and dasher barrels for AXs on my shelf, each one has less than 200 rounds through them and I moved to 6x47 so they are just taking up space. Keen to hear I won’t have to chop an Area 419 rail. Any update or have I missed it in amongst the dry-no lube screws, breaking bad and Leggo?Yeah, I’d get rid of that 419.... Or, that’s what a buddy did pretty much immediately after he grabbed one.
The midnight oil is burning... y’all will be pleased!
The prototype is done and aluminum is being cut for final fitment. Then to anodizing. Hang on a bit longerKeen to hear I won’t have to chop an Area 419 rail. Any update or have I missed it in amongst the dry-no lube screws, breaking bad and Leggo?
