Advice needed on correct combo

I have a PVA Comp-40 tripod. Which Anvil-30 do I need?

Just the Anvil-30 OR the Anvil-3 for the 3 series

ANYONE have this combo that could post a picture?

I just received my comp-40, and from the information in the above thread either will work. (Post #47 has a pic)

If I go with the anvil 30 I'm getting the 3 series adapter for quick swap out to my fluid head. If you get just the head it will need to be pinned to the plate that came with your tripod so it doesn't unscrew when panning left.
I'm just waiting for shot show to see whats new, like maybe leveling base with pic and dove tail mounting?
