So the wife and daughter went for a stroll near a local river last week. As usual for this time of year, the bears were out fattening up for the winter hibernation period. She snapped a few pics thinking you fellow Hiders' might like them. This is a sow with cubs, probably around 3 years old. Note the color of the salmon, some are fresher than the spawning red ones.
