Sounds like she is showing the blame for her sloppy work to the prop supplier. I kinda doubt that she ordered dummy ammo and got blanks and ball ammo in the same package when she picked up the gear , and even so its kinda her job to check.
The armourer for the film Rust has filed a lawsuit stating that live ammunition was left among dummy cartridges at the movie set where police say that the actor Alec Baldwin fired a round that killed the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, 24, who oversaw prop weapons on the film set, is seeking unspecified damages from the prop provider Seth Kenney and his company, PDQ Arm and Prop LLC, according to her lawsuit filed in New Mexico state court.
Kenney had provided Rust with ammunition that was “misrepresented as only dummy ammunition” — meaning that it had no gunpowder and was inert — “when it contained both dummy and live ammunition”
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed alleges prop supplier Seth Kenney "deceptively sold” boxes of dummy ammunition that also contained live rounds.
