I have heard rumors that 2000MR is loosely based on the formulation of 8208, just slower. Is there any truth to this? 8208 is a great powder, very accurate, fine metering, but useful only for lighter bullets.
I know that 2000MR gives great velocities in many heavy bullet applications. Anecdotal reports seem to suggest that vertical dispersion with 2000MR is very low at long range. Anybody have any recent experience with this powder?
