Am I the last one to discover IBA has taken my money? Edit: money isn't gone. Order was basically thrown down a bottomless hole.

I ordered a couple books from the Chandlers on Feb 19 and paid with my debit card. Tonight I sent emails to every email I could find for them including the email address I received the confirmation from. Two addresses sent back undeliverable notices and one was from somebody stating they no longer had anything to do with the Chandlers. Is this normal for them or did I not do my due diligence before trying to deal with them and am just the latest fool?

Btw: order was for M40 and M40A1 technical manuals. Total including shipping was $42 or so.

Edit to add: money isn't gone. They never charged my card and being busy on the boat and ordering all sorts of rifle parts I never noticed the $54 wasn't charged to any of my cards. I did call their number today and it has been disconnected btw.

If you check with Gamewarden at www.m40rifle.com I believe he has those manuals for sale. Others over there may have them on PDF. I think I have those manuals and they are nice to have but there is not a lot of reference in them that I refer to.

I guess it's official: Their number has been disconnected. I guess they made all the money they needed and my $54.00 was just a bonus. Sad.

The guys were GTG. Roy, who was not really involved passed away and Norm is in declining health. Their items were often priced high but they were very honest and would not cheat anyone from what I have seen. Getting old is a tough deal. Hope it all works out.
