I called Vortex with a question about this scope ~ a year ago and was told I was mistaken, because they'd never made a FFP 1-4 Razor... eventually someone who was calculating how far away they were from a pension corrected him, but - that's how you know it, and me, and the gun are all getting long in the tooth - but working none the less.
I believe this was one of the better LPVOs offered before mag ranges went to 5, 6, 8 and now 10 factors.
This scope is sitting on my son's 14.5" 556 that has done God's work on pigs, coyotes, served through a few training classes and has worked for hits out to 500 yards. For the most part, it eats green tip and shits brass.
The scope is everything you'd expect from an early Razor. Glass is crystal clear and the scope has been bomb proof, cart proof, bounced around and never lost zero, never given us a moments aggravation.
It isn't the lightest thing, but if you ever get a chance to pick one up - they're great for the actual work you'll do with a 556, super excellent compliment to a clip on thermal, and generally easy to use.
