This woman was sentenced to 6 months in prison for deniying the Holocoust happened. Thats about like one of us being sent to jail for denying slavery happened. Fuck that, no more Octoberfest for me. Id tell them it didnt happen just as a matter of principle.

    being jailed for "thinking wrong"......

and they have the balls to call americans "uncivilized" because we have guns

Germany does not fuck around when it comes to issues associated with WWII/Nazis. They feel they whole thing is a huge embarrassment, there is no pride what so ever in the actions of Germany from that time frame.

Draw a swastika and you are in trouble.

Here are a couple Chinese tourists who that it would be funny to do the Hitler salute.

Fuck Germany. Fuck ALL of Europe. Even in the "freer" countries (like the Czech Republic), fundamental freedoms do not exist to the level they do here.

And worst of all, most of them are fine with that.

Germany is well into the thought police state.
But then again so is the rest of Europe
From England comes the guy who was arrested & put on trial for taking a photo of his airsoft gear (clearly labeled as such and showing airsoft accessories)

Other countries, you might get arrested for a hate thought crime if you mention you don't like Muslim immigrants raping your local women.

People in this country have no idea how much freedom of thought & speech we still have that has all but vanished from the rest of the world.

The judge, Sheriff John Mundy, announced, after delivering his not guilty verdict, that he had intended convicting Turnbull until the break in the chain of custody forced police to admit their evidence was legally worthless.

Holy Jesus those people are fucked in the head.

"Turnbull was charged with posting pictures and videos that were "grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing manner, in that they depicted [Turnbull] in possession of a cache of firearms and explosives"

so being "offensive" is a crime in the UK?.......what sort of back woods stone age civilization are they?......like this is something i would expect from a 3rd world nation like N Korea......

makes you really thankful to live in a free society.

Most of the European nations have a type of "free speech" in their governing documents, but they also allow for restrictions upon those freedoms, especially when it comes to Nazis and Holocaust denying. The very same laws were floated in America and the UK as well, but promptly shot down as a violation of free speech.

Consider it like our Second Amendment, where there are numerous encroachments on those freedoms, passed by the legislature and declared legal by the courts, giving me wonder in what Constitution they now teach at Harvard and the rest. These thought restrictions are also exactly what the extremists on both sides of the aisle wish to have in our own nation, the ability to outlaw specific religions and speech, and often call out the restrictions on the 2A as justification for such. All encroachments are illegal and stand as a smack in the face to those who fought for our independence. Same goes for encroachments on the 4A, both parties have whittled away at that one for the last sixteen years, both of which are done in the name of security screaming about the children. I shudder to think where we will be in fifty or a hundred years.

Glad to see that you know its coming from 'Both sides". Most cant see it and those who can wont admit it. Honestly, barring a miracle, I dont think we will recognize the country of our birth in 50 - 100 years.

Wow, apparantly some are trying to do tis here already.
Yes I know its a couple years old, but still...

Neil Gorsuch is why we will not see the same restrictions on speech here in the next few years. In 50 years I hope we're rebuilding the country (or parts of it) after the bloodletting that puts the fear of God back into any political representatives.
