And now Texans are 'surrendering' their guns to make communities safer

Where exactly is DeSoto so I can avoid it?

They didn't take one single firearm "off the street" that would be used in a crime, but they did take a few out of the attic, out of the closet and a few from under the bed that more than likely would have never been used in a crime anyway.
It shows the current owners probably inherited them from the fading culture of Americans that were hunters and Fudds and knew no one they dared to ask if they wanted Pa Pa's old shotgun.

I wonder at the outcome had some enterprising individual been out side the cop shop offering $30 each for them?

lol I have 40 pipe maybe guns made waiting for them to buy them up here and enough pipe to make another 40 or more please do the buy back here lol .

Instead of lumping all Texans into this it's worth noting where this is at. This is in a primarily minority area of Dallas area. Democrats won this area with over 75% of the vote going D. It's at least half if not more than half all African American, which are traditionally Democrats.

This district is not really any different than the one that produced Shelia Jackson Lee, only it's in a different big city.

I don't know about other places, but in Texas they gerrymander certain districts so they don't screw it up for the rest of us.

This is by far not a representation of Texas as a whole at all.

Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston both suck large penises.

I have a lawyer BIL from Ft. Worth and if my socialist promoting, expensive family art collection stealing, high school English teaching, Obama/Hillary worshipping sister ever brings him back around I'm going to see if I can knock someone out with an open handed bitchslap.

Probably a lot of old women getting rid of their deceased husbands crap and they have no idea what to do with. If they had any sense they would have taken it to a pawn shop and got something/ anything for it. it looked liked there was more than a few rifles that were not junk.

DeSoto is full of idiots that most likely voted for Communists so they are just following their conditioning. Based on the link from @Docsherm Darwinism will kick in soon enough.

I went to a buyback protest in Dallas a few years ago. Cops made us stay on the opposite side of the street. Most of the people turning in their guns had no interest in selling them to us.

We were only able to entice 2-3 people over where we had a makeshift auction. I remember a rossi lever action going for $460.

As far as Texas going blue, my district went blue in 2018, and they’re gaining pretty much everywhere. We might survive through 2024, but it’s just a matter of time.

The new address is a fire station for all the drop offs.
Step 1- white pickup.
Step 2- truck stickers. Official looking "firearm retrieval" or the like.
Step 3- a clipboard and forms with long paragraphs and a place for signatures when you drop by to pick them up. Just doing your part.
Step 4- ask if you can get a hand loading all that ammo and guns. The turnout was better than expected and those poor boys need their facility back.
Step 5- wd40 and razor blades for the decals. Also, spray paint for your truck. You dont want it white anymore after all.

You never said you were official.
Never said you were an officer.
The form was signed relinquishing said items to you. You just wanted those brave firefighters to have their space back and it seemed the right thing to do.
These last items are for as needed basis only.
To any whom has a lonely, unwanted firearm, I am also a gun foster home. I'll send you my address, you can send any ammo, etc to me day or night and know it'll be loved and always in good hands with other gun siblings who will love them. (Que that Sarah McLaughlin song).

Those numbers are whispering fraud to me. 5k more people voted there in 2020 vs 2016. Republican turn out lower this year than 2012. Yea those ballots either got switched or trashed,

Its times like this when everyone needs to be adept at making these.......

$10 dollars in parts. $90 in return. No questions asked.

Looking at the video the only thing that really made my eyes water were the ammo cans.

Cops in DeSoto, TX. want to send out a giant 'Thank you!... Dumbfucks, to all those that are surrendering their guns to make the streets safer.'

That Nylon 66 would fetch $400.00 on GB easy.

I bet there are special notes on some of those yellow tags that say things such as 'Save for Off. Friendly.'

MY FIL had me store an Iver Johnson .32 in my safe. Now that he has passed, I need to dispose of it. I assess the value at about $0.09. The cylinder doesn't lock and would most likely rapidly disassemble if fired. Was hoping I could get some moron to give me $50. Sadly, I live in a very conservative area and don't expect to see a buy back anytime in the future.

PS: Have three boxes of Win .32 Auto if anyone is interested.

They should cut off their dicks to prevent rape. Apparently they are not using them?
Maybe they should have a " dick buy back "program . Turn your dick in for $100 gift certificate. "Were making the streets safe out there for all you ladies, and soon to be ladies after you turn your dick in ".

I saw a bunch of good dove/anti-home invasion guns. I would have loved to have that Nylon 66 for boyhood nostalgia.

"Off the street" aka, disarming all gun owners.

Cops laugh at your stupid Constitution.

The absolutely most screwed up , disturbing part of this thread is the fact that there is the desire for a nylon 66.

Wasn't there suppose to be a asteroid headed this way ? .............patiently waiting!

My processor asked me if I had any 22 mag in exchange for a discount on some beef I was bringing in. I handed him a box with a $2 price tag on it.

So does the DeSoto PD have a GB account? I might be in the market for a 12ga pistol.

I've been in Fort Worth since 1982 and saw my first man bun lat year.

We were in home depot and I started laughing my ass off out loud.

The "freek" got upset and left and I laughed harder.

Fort Worth is not that fucked up yet.

never had a man bun, but seems bad to be starting shit no? To many crazies, and even if it’s justified the paperwork and legal and mental BS for a shoot ain’t worth it.
