Hi,
I know this is a rare subject, but I am wanting to see if there in anyone in central Alabama that has a tubegun style chassis and would be willing to meet up and allow me to shoot it. I may also reach out to the highpower match director at Brock’s Gap as they are popular in that discipline.
Considering building (among other things) a bolt rifle in the next year or two based off an Eliseo chassis. Currently looking at either a long action Bighorn Origin or Defiance Mutant with a .308 or 30-06 barrel.
Here’s the thing, I really like AR ergonomics, but am unsure of how it will translate to running a bolt. Also considering a MCS Eh1, MCS T, KMW Sentinel, and a Teirney AMP chassis if I decide against the tubegun.
Also would like to handle an RPR as it is basically a mass produced tubegun. Any known relevance?
Anyways, I’d appreciate it, we can work out the details such as me either buying or paying for ammo and range fees.
If this needs to be moved to the member link up section, please do so.
Thank you,
- PBWalsh
