Anyone Having Trouble Hooking Prochrono to PC???

I recently got a Prochrono and a digital remote as a gift. It has a 9 pin serial port to connet to a PC. I went out and bought a 9 pin serial to USB adapter (which is what the instructions tell you to use). But, I can't get any of the info that is currently saved on the chrono to upload to the laptop. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience using thier Prochrono with thier laptop?? I did go shoot today without having the laptop hooked up and just now trying to hook up laptop. Curious if that makes any difference or not.

Anyway, any tips would be great. The book isn't much help. And, the store won't be open till monday.

No one??? Either no one has trouble, or I'm the only one trying to hook it to a laptop.

That must be an old cable because the current ones are USB.

I had no problems hooking my USB cable to my PCD or to my computer.

I'd consider just ordering the new USB connectivity kit.

The program works very well but I'm always a bit self conscious setting up my laptop and my PCD at the public range.
