Ya that's correct, anyways I don't often see the correct height for the front Redfield sight base for sale. But you could try Steve Earle. The Redfield
version of the flash hider would be fine, the difference is the lock ring which is taller.

No idea, I would say that they would have used new barrels.I been following this thread for awhile, can someone post the specs and some build information on the m24a2? Seems like the information on building this rifle is harder to find information on. One of my questions I have did they rebarrel the m24a2 or did they reprofile the existing one?
Just got this off of Evil Bay. A guy out in Arizona had an almost complete deployment kit but I missed out in buying it by a day. That's great news but I'm afraid the Tenebraex is a bigger, more rare, unicorn than the EMA. Don't give up the search and keep your fingers crossed. What I didn't photograph here is the Bulter Creek style lens cap with the Tenebraex "See not Seen" branded lid.
That's a pretty good find and I'm not going to poo poo your fortunate acquisition, however yours is a later version of the original.Just got this off of Evil Bay. A guy out in Arizona had an almost complete deployment kit but I missed out in buying it by a day.
Go back to page 6, post 299. The gentleman that helped develop the a2 has all the details. It’s the 013.Can anyone explain the stock choices for the m24a2, I’ve called hs precision and he said to use the pst013, I’ve also seen plenty of stocks using the pst026. So did they use both? Also which rings do I need for the m24a2? Like to see some details on cloning the m24a2.
Your picture didn't show up for me. See belowIs the front sight base the the circled part?
Ah yes! My barrel has that base and is getting profiled for the AEM M24 as of three weeks ago which means I have no place for it. If you don't find one sooner, shoot me a DM and I'll let you know when I get the rifle and parts back. Looks like it'll fit in an envelope!Your picture didn't show up for me. See below

I ordered one as well. Talked to JFE they are legit unfinished Remington M24’s. When they got them from Remington they were unpainted so they did cerakote them. Although your m24 looks like a factory paint job. Any markings on the left side of the barrel?I got a barreled m24 action from JFE on GB about a month ago but I don’t know anything about the barrel. Kinda bought it on impulse because it was a decent deal but I’d like to know something about it and JFE won’t respond to my emails. Barrel is unmarked and except what looks to maybe be a proof mark? Is there any way to tell what kind of barrel it is? Surplus?
No there is nothing. Even the guys at my LGS were confused with the lack of markings. It will all be refinished anyways when I send it off to be built and contoured for the can. Know anymore details on the barrel?Any idea how they shoot?I ordered one as well. Talked to JFE they are legit unfinished Remington M24’s. Impressive
Ya saw that, seems prices for odds and ends are getting higher. I believe the first front sight bases were made inhouse by Remington and later ones from Redfield but I may be wrong.
That’s good to know. Thanks. If it helps, they're the same as the EFR and IMUNS rails. Part number 306-59-3. How many are you looking for?
