Mid-Range F-Class/Prone Match
August 3, 2013

27 folks showed up to shoot on what turned out to be a hot and windy day by match’s end.

With a number of the Prone shooters at Camp Perry, the Prone side was a little lighter than usual with 4 shooters. Of which 2 were shooting for practice, so did not report scores.
Warren Freeman won with a 590-28X.

FTR had 15 shooters and Alton Britt hung on over2 other competitors by 1 point to win overall with a 584- 18X. But Craig Martin was right behind him edging out Jade Delcambre on X count with a 583-24X to take 1st in the Master/Master Unclassified group. Jade posted a 583-20X for 2nd place.
Wes Powell again took the win in the Sharpshooter/Marksman group with a nice 578-13X. I should be noted that all 5 Sharpshooters posted Expert scores today, with Wes missing a Master score by 1 point. Great shooting guys!

In F-Open it came down to X count and Jim Suber came out on top with a 593-36X. Marc Olivier was right behind him to take 1st High Master with a 593-31X.
Wes Cummings took 1st Master/Expert with a 590-21X.

We want to thank Jade Delcambre and the crew for helping get the flags and targets up this morning.

We also want to thank those who drove from Florida and Mississippi to shoot today. We know it’s a long drive and we appreciate it.

The State Match is scheduled for October 5 and 6. There are only a few slots left, so don’t forget to register.

Also, Palo Alto has a new forum, so come check it out.

Quit whining you big sissy, who doesn't like 97 degree temps with stupid high humidity........lol

All joking aside, the heat sucks! Great match as usual with great guys. State match will be here before we know it, looking forward to that one!
