Just wondering if I were to remove my brake to clean my barrel does it need to be reindexed? If so how do you do it? Thanks

You should be able to loosen the pinch screw and unscrew the brake. To reinstall just thread it back on and tighten the screw. It is either timed by the pinch screw or the tenon shoulder, so re timing it should be pretty easy.
If it was timed to the shoulder of the tenon. If not, you just line it up and tighten the pinch screw.
If it's not timed to the shoulder, get two bubble levels. Place one on the scope rail and one on the FTE. Line 'em up and tighten the pinch screw.
When I ran a FTE, before I took the brake off I would scribe a line with a pencil across the brake onto the barrel. Then just line up the pencil mark and clamp it down when installing it.
