Rem 700 VSSF 26in , .308. bought the barreled action and break (thanks JGrady) , bought the stock (thanks backpage), bought the bottom metal(thanks signal25). Prepped, painted, baked/cured, painted, baked/cured, painted cured, pieced back together. Base Paint was Brownelles Aluma-hyde OD Green. other paints were rustoleum camo's.. Cure oven was a simple cardboard box wrapped in a blanket with a top mounted heat lamp and computer fan to move air. baking was held at 125* F for 7 days , then allowed to air dry for 3 weeks before I got to phase 2 of painting. second dusting of alumahyde allowed to bake for 5 days and air dry for 3 before camo was added, let that cure for a day out in the sun and air then pieced together.... scope will be painted to match once it is sighted in and function tested.
