BDS Tactical and Original S.O.E.

Hey does anybody know what the deal is with BDS Tactical and Original S.O.E.? Are or were the two companies related? I used to buy gear from a store in Oceanside, CA back when I was at Camp Pendleton ten years ago that was called S.O.E. Are they now called BDS Tactical? I can't find any contact info on Original S.O.E. so I don't know where they are located, but I did pull up a few complaints about their delivery time.

SOE, Special Operations Equipment was owned by John Willis and wife.
Evidently they split up and now business is BDS Tactical.
John Willis now runs O.S.O.E., or Original Special Operations Equipment back east.
JW is a regular on Getoffthex.com and is heavily supported there.

The SOE you want is the John Willis SOE (OSOE) his kit is top notch.

Anyone have any trouble with the quality of BDS? I have only a belt from them and haven't really used it yet.

I have a bunch of John's gear and it is just unreal. I usually don't give a flying shit about gear anymore, but his stuff is just art.

Have you bought anything from John Lately? I'm curious about his customer service. Any problems getting things in a timely fashion? I'm worried about placing an order because their is no phone number or any contact info other than an email address, and I have found a few complaints listed on the web.

You might look at Tactical Respsonse Gear. Looks like they have OSOE gear in stock. They at least have a phone #.

I have some BDS gear, including slings and pouches that I have put through hard use, and so far it has held up great. Customer service has also been good so far. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Tactical rsponse gear is THE BEST to deal with. If its on the site its in stock and usually ships same day. At least thats my experience.

OpTactical stocks OSOE gear as well. It's bombproof gear built like a tank.
