Looking for a good field tripod for the Razor HD spotting scope.
Uses will be hunting and Tac matches.
Suggestions for Carbon tripod (list head) or aluminum tripods.

I have the Manfrotto 190 with aluminum legs and the 322RC2 head. Great set up but can be bulky and heavy at times. They make a carbon version of the 190 which would cut down on weight.

+1 on above. Have the same set up. Works really well. Also added the Manfrotto window mount to use in my truck when hunting.

I have the carbon fiber tripod that Vortex offers, along with the pistol grip ball head.
I works great and is not at all heavy.

Like the manfrotto 055 it is a robust tripod.

On that spotting scope I try not to use the pistol grip the especially on higher magnification. The pistol is quick but too course for my tastes
