Biden to ban Russian oil. Get ready for $10.00 gas.

Meanwhile in Soviet Russia...

Anybody have any Russian mob friends with a big boat... could probably make some money selling bootleg refined gasoline in the United States

Won’t get real for you.

I can already see the pain happening. $4 per gallon for the next 8 months is going to wreck anyone making less than 50k, and is living with less than $500 monthly surplus.

If anyone reading this is in the above boat, start cutting unnecessary expenses now. Consider offloading your gas hog if it’s just a vehicle to look cool in.

In 2008, many dealerships would barely offer $0.50 on the dollar for trucks and SUV’s, if they’d even take them in on trade.
Nothing corrects inflation like hyper inflation

Lets hope you're able to find that great deal when some poor bastard has to sell his new truck he saved for for pennies on the dollar. Good times ahead for some good deals.
You don’t have to sell just don’t pay anymore.

"President Biden on Tuesday said that he "can't do much" about gas prices that are surging past all-time highs after he signed an executive order to ban Russian oil imports.

"Do you have a message for the American people on gas prices?" a reporter asked Biden as he arrived in Fort Worth, Texas, for an event about veterans health.

"They're going to go up," Biden said.

A reporter followed up, "What can you do about it?"

"Can't do much right now Russia is responsible," said the president, despite Republicans urging him to allow more domestic drilling and pipeline projects"

I can't believe how fucking stupid some Republicans are, "urging" this puppet pos to resume domestic drilling like he's oblivious to what he's doing.
There are some racks and devices in the Tower of London's torture chamber museum this motherfucker should be put on. Laugh at the ceiling now you criminal son of a bitch.

And any Republican Senator that thinks "urging" this fucker to quit willfully sabotaging America is the answer needs some rack time too. Stupid should hurt.

I just gave “Ol Joe” a call and asked him his plan to combat these crazy gas prices. Thankfully, he does have a plan. He told me he planned to roll out a new stump speech in the next few days calling on Congress to raise the minimum wage to $27.50 per hour because $15 just doesn’t even cover inflation anymore….gotta get ballsy!

I feel so much better.

Take that Putin!!

290 million EV's drawing 7200 watts , can our grid handle that ?

Absolutely not.

Per the usual, the .gov plan is to rely on 100% effectiveness while underestimating the cost. it's why every single time something is 'supposed to generate X in new revenues' it doesn't and fails miserably in the process, yet the associated expenses were 3x as much as anticipated. So in the end, you now paid 3x as much for 1/2 the outcome.

'Green' energy is supposed to support the grid for EV. It's the exact same bullshit.

Yes sir.....

I've never been one to worry about shit I can't control. It's allowed me to go through a lot of things and function mentally.

It's probably cliche to say this in regards to the commodity markets today/ food later but here it goes.

After the next harvest, all bets are off IMHO.

People can deal without a phone, driving less, adjusting the thermostat, blah blah blah, but this food thing is a situation that has to be dealt with today.

Crops take time, some plants produce once a season.

That's a pretty simple thing but I don't think the average American really understands it or the repercussions of what is happening today.

Urea, fertilizer ,diesel and other things will cripple us.

Grain exporting countries stopping exports already is a really big deal.

Pretty wild where we've came to already.
We have already danced to these these scary bad crisis scenarios.....you know, the one just around the corner....live ur life and enjoy it. Fuck theses stupid pricks. Make smart choices, stock a little extra food. The sun will come out tomorrow.....or it wont.

i have to drive over an hour to get to an outdoor range. ☹️
I wish now I hadn't sold my Harley. With saddlebags, I could do almost everything on it when the weather was decent, go to the store, go to the job once I had it set up, go to the range. I had a leather scabbard that fit under my right leg my AR fit in.

ALL discretionary spending will be impacted further from where inflation has already taken it. Now, think about how many people are employed in businesses that deal with discretionary income. Hint: everyone except defense contractors. Slower purchases will hit everyone and affect all industries. There will be (almost) no citizens unaffected.

Trades are where it's at.

Luckily I have current licenses in several states. If the market for commercial and residential dies here tomorrow, I'll probably double my income in the industrial side working on oil related service. 2010 I went from $50k/yr to 120k/yr.

I can ride the 4 wheeler to the range at least. It's 10 minutes away in bad traffic with no speed limit above 45mph.

I'm betting the Saudi's will step up and fill the gap, as will Canada.
No! We have to buy it from Joe's guys! Otherwise it's bad oil. That's why we can't make US oil, it's bad.

Sort of like deciding that smoking is bad for you, so you only do it in your neighbor's yard.

The entire defense budget is discretionary. Just ask those contractors what a continuing resolution, or better yet a lapse in appropriations, does.

Absolutely agree.

Food production, the real way, not gay assed Walmart seeds and chemical fertilizer, canning and the other preservation methods, water, meds , the ability to keep it all and other crap.

Anyone who doesn't know this stuff is fucked.

If these bastards complete this process, and currently it appears they will, people will go where the food/security is or they will take care of themselves.

This shit is coming, like it or not.

I'm glad we've chosen to live like our grandparents instead of our parents.

I'm also glad our kids learned some of it. They'll be learning about the rest pretty soon.

Edited to add,

Oil allows the population to be fed.

After energy is weakened, food security is a close second.

You can live without energy. But the population is smaller and more easily controlled.

You can't live without food.
You definitely can’t live without water…

The first thing an enemy that has access to a foe's airspace does is bomb that country's fuel depots and refineries. Biden has attacked and shut down America's most important resource to function, it's fuel supply. We are at war and Putin and Russia are not the enemy, Biden and his handlers are.

You will be forced back to the office. Urban centers need your disposable income.

Agree. And another reason is to discriminate and shame those who didn't take the vaxx. If your vaxxed and return to office no mask, if not vaxxed wear a mask.

If your vaxxed you are free to use the facilities, if not nope. Non vaxxed must stay in this area...

Once return to office, people can't hide their vaxx status. It will be worn on their faces.

Electric vehicles are being pushed at us as if the electricity they use is green.

In 2021, about 4,116 billion kilowatthours (kWh) (or about 4.12 trillion kWh) of electricity were generated at utility-scale electricity generation facilities in the United States.1 About 61% of this electricity generation was from fossil fuels—coal, natural gas, petroleum, and other gases. About 19% was from nuclear energy, and about 20% was from renewable energy sources.

I want to agree with you on that.
. . . but I am still depressed by the reality that the majority of our citizenry enthusiastically went along with all levels of government shutting down the entire economy,
imposing travel mandates,
imposing employment mandates,
imposing quarantine mandates and
imposing mask mandates,
all in the name of a Covid while they didn't even try to hide their double standards....

I'm not sure what level of bitch slap it is going to take to change the thinking of our electorate. We could eliminate every politician in existence to start with a clean slate but our voting population would vote the same ilk into offices of power.

./
They'll start to understand after they've ratted out their neighbors and they get put on the same bus to the same camp. When it's too late.

Or like the rest of history they'll sit it out and let the 8% or so of the country with a spine do the fighting, bleeding, and dying for them.

That sob biden came to Fort Worth Texas today.

Uninvited, nobody wanted him here. Messed up traffic all damn day to talk to vetrans that hate him.

The cameras never showed the crowd because there wasn't one. He spoke and I counted either 4 or 5 people clapping.

Grandstanding and pushing the new catchphrase of burn pit disease that seems like another distraction .

That fucker is in a corner and pulling at straws, anything to distract from the real state of the union.

There will be widespread civil unrest by Independence day I figure.

This time it will be blamed on all the democrats. They can't lie thier way out.

If nothing else it is clear that they are capitalizing on the fact that high gas prices can be used to reduce demand for oil and over time can cause a reduction in lifestyle choices. He and Psaki have all but said so. In essence they are getting by with creating a HUGE new behavior modifying tax that Congress wasn’t needed to implement. This also has the potential effect of cooling off the economy in such a way that the fed doesn’t have to increase interest rates.

While it may not be directly and intentionally the situation you lay out, they are definitely running with the opportunity to strip savings from the consumer wallet and compel them to behave in a way leadership wants through the reallocation of limited funds.

It’s a great way to lower wages without actually lowering people’s pay at work…

Bottom line is, Biden is destroying the economy and is going to bring the Unites State's to it's knees. Thats what you do to an enemy before you can implement your own type of government, in this case Socialism/Marxism/Globalism.

Another rationale for using mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting by the usual fraudsters in upcoming elections. "It's just too expensive to drive to the polling places". Wait for it...

In the old days in S. Texas, George Parr, the Duke of Duval and LBJ's election rigger, offered free shuttle bus rides to polling places to illegal aliens. The only requirement was you had to vote Democrat.

Mail-in vote rigging today is much more convenient, you not only don't have to leave the house, you don't even have to be alive.

I would and do feel bad for the hardworking family who honestly saved up for a down payment on a new truck or toy.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for all the people who used the covid money to finance stuff with basically no money down knowing they couldn't afford it normally.

He isn't weakening the prepared. He is in the process of redpilling a metric assload of people in the process though. I look at it differently. If the aristocrats fought the plebs today I know what side I would pick. Every day they go further down the road it just removes public support from their side.

Popularity only matters in democracies that hold honest elections. Otherwise it's a dictatorship, and dictators don't care what the majority thinks.
