Hamza "Travis" Nagdy, a Black Lives Matter activist who organized and led the city's notorious protests in the wake of the Breonna Taylor police shooting has been killed in a carjacking. The known activist was reportedly “struck by multiple bullets,” according to Democracy Now.
While very few details about the shooting have been released, Louisville Metro Police spokesman Matt Sanders did confirm that Nagdy was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries, reports USA Today.
