Bore Tech Suppressor cleaner

This stuff works really well!

Tried it over the weekend on my DA Mask HD. Had a lot of rounds through it, not sure how many, but it was at the point where the baffle stack couldn't be pushed out anymore. After soaked for around a day in part A, they just slid out and a lot of the carbon was mush. Rinsed it off and scrubbed a bit with a plastic brush. There were still a lot of hard carbon deposits all over it. So, I soaked it again for a day in part B. When I opened it this time, a lot of carbon crumbs fell out. It was around 90% clean, but still had some hard deposits. So, I did another round of each. After the second round of part B, the can looked brand new.

I was re-using the solution, just adding a bit to top it up the second time around. Still worked great.

I wouldn't bother with it on a can or parts that are CLR safe (I know the Mask is, but wanted to try it on a really dirty can). It's great for parts you can't use CLR on though. Betting it would clean muzzle brake really well too.

Decimator is AMAZING for getting out stubborn carbon rings!

Had an old barrel I thought was shot out. At the time I didn't own a borescope and it was getting to a round count where it was reasonable for the cartridge for it to give up the ghost. I decided to take a look at it with the borescope last week and found it hand a really bad carbon ring. Tried soaking it with a number of carbon solvents and Free-All, in addition to trying JB paste and Bore Tech Chameleon. Nothing got it out. I had contacted Bore Tech a while back and asked if Decimator could be used in the bore and they said that it could. So, I plugged the chamber side, stood the barrel up and filled it with Decimator (it didn't take much) and left it overnight.

The next morning I unplugged it, flushed it out with water, brushed it a bit with a nylon brush and flushed it out again. There were a few crumbs stuck in the corners of the lands here and there. They came out with a few passes of some Hoppe's 9 and a bronze brush. I then polished the bore with Iosso paste and patched it out. It's an old barrel and it has alligator scale and all, but it looks as good as a barrel can for the round count.
