Was hoping someone might have a few suggestions a new shooter.

I've read a few different articles, all claiming to be the "right" way to break in a new barrel. Everything from cleaning after every shot, to once every 20 shots.

What exactly am I looking for as I swab the barrel?

I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere on the forum, tried searching for it, but who knew that "proper" and "barrel" were used so frequently.

Re: Breaking in a new barrel

Oh and a simple search the old way by scroling down the page of threads would have lead to last weeks post about this.

Welcome to the hide.
