Gunsmithing Can someone machine a firing pin for me?

My grandfathers old .22 bolt gun that he left me, decided to let the firing pin break in half. Its only 70 years old and all.

I have all the measurements and even drew one up in CAD, but I have no access to a machine shop at the moment. I would really like to get his old 22 rifle back up and running. I would only need it machined to a rough finished length, and then can adjust the protrusion by hand with a flat file.

If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I wondered about that. But based on where the small diameter pin appeared to be broken off... I think I have it right. The 'fat' end seems to be a spring guide. The front end seems to be a striker. It did not appear that the small end was broken off the big end. But I could be off. In which case... I'll make another one!

I considered that also. My comment was largely due to the picture of the CAD model that the IP posted. In either case, I know that you will take care of it, especially nice considering that this is something you are doing pro bono.

I did get it wrong.... the small pin apparently broke off the larger diameter one. Which is strange, because it looks like it broke off as I machined it. But since I wasn't looking at the print... I didn't put the 'ends' together.

Machining another one tomorrow and we'll get this gun working again!
