My brother has a 700 xcr 338 lapua he traded into its just been laying around awhile. He is in the middle of a surgeon build. Im picking up a extra night force nxs on the cheap. He told me i can take it awhile. Its gonna cost me at least $500.00 in components dies and buying a rail for it to get it up and going. If my redding t7 will handle the loading for it using 285 eld ill do it. but if i have to buy a xl press then i think im just gonna build a 7mm mag for 195 eod.

It works OK, not great. I went to a Redding Ultra-Mag with Warner dies.

I had a problem cracking Redding .338 Lapua sizing dies. Redding eventually replaced the press because of an alignment problem between the ram and the die hole placement in the turret/die holder.

I have loaded every round of 338 LM on my T7 I have ever shot, which is in the neighborhood of about 600 rds. I checked the concentricity of a few rounds one day with a friend's sinclair concentricity tool. The runout was less than .001.

The only thing I wish was different is the clearance. When turning the turret, the loaded round cannot be in the shell holder because it hits the bottom of the dies. I use the instant indicator to check my seating depth
