Skinner's Mudhole, Oregon
Hi guys:

I have gotten all my gear ready for Urban Rifle at ThunderRanch, Oregon. But I am having a hard time deciding on a Tactical Bottle Opener.

This is a mission critical item. So I came here for help.

Brownells has the Ace model the also works as a Sling Mount:

LaRue Has a hand held tool:

There is also the too logic Version:

I need to know the pluses and minuses of each type?

Also, do snipers go with LaRue?

Does Delta Force use the Tool Logic version?

Can I still mount my tasco dot if I get the ACE rail maounted version?

Any tips appreciated.

The guys at arf.com laready helped pick my Krylon.

This would be so much easier if CounterSniper made these . . . .

I vote for the Ace model. Since it's rail mounted it will ensure minute of bottle cap accuracy and will not get lost during tactical operations.

Excellent point, MOBC accuracy is critical to this application, that's why I went with the Tasco . . . . . .

You must be going to the Urban Tactical Rifle II class. They don't get into tactical beverage opening until the advanced classes.

Which one is MPI'd and HPT'd?

Correct, this is for the "Team Tactics" aspect of the class.

Accuracy is good to consider, but what's the rate of bottle opens per minute? You don't want to get overrun at a party....

Tactical things that double as bottle openers:
Knives
Lighters
M4 Magazines

But definitely get the sling mount/bottle opener. It's rail mounted, and therefore, it's more tactical.
