I need a cheap stock that will fit a Defiance Rebel SA with M40 barrel. This combo did NOT fit in a Hogue like which comes on the R700 tacticals.

It's a 16" truck gun yote killer. Sold off the McRees to afford my kid a chassis for his RAR. Don't need anything fancy for it anymore. Thanks!

Just purchased a greyboe for my beater rifle. Great stock for the cash with the Mpa dbm. Haven't taken it to the range but it was sure as hell leaps above the POS hogue I removed from my 700 tactical. Give them a call to see if that contour will fit.

Based on the title of your thread, you might take a look at H&S Precision stocks. Not the greatest stock on the planet but good value for what you pay I think, ie a fiberglass stock with a CNC machined aluminum bedding block, many styles and sizes to choose from, etc. Might try shopping at "Stockys Stocks" as well.

A B&C with integral bedding block is worth a look too - I had good luck with mine and regretted selling it off after I bought the Magpul.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was hoping for a Hogue priced stock that would fit a Defiance recoil lug. I forgot about HS Precision.
I am unsure if it would fit in a Magpul. Anyone know?
I dont even need a dbm, as this will be temporary solution.
    Thanks again!

I can't believe it took someone that many posts to recommend Boyd's. Not sure of the inlet compatabilities but for that much less than the others you could afford to over relieve it in some spots and then a quick dirty bedding job.

I have a few Boyd's pro varmint stocks. All colored laminate, nothing a Dremel and some JB weld to handle the recoil lug and a bedding job. I'm happy with the stocks. There close to a Manners T4 in shape.

My sa rem 700 spr 300 black fit like a glove.
Had about 3/16th on either side of lug, not regreting it.
