if your soaking it overnight maybe, but if you are putting it on a patch and running it through it won't damage a chrome-lined AR barrel. With that said, I wouldn't do it 100 times in a row either.

ammonia went out with cupro-nickle bullets. Wipe Out is all you
need.

+1 wipe out is hands down the best cleaner i have ever use... and i have used just about all of them.
