I am about to attend a CMP rimfire Sporter match in March.
I have a Ruger 10/22 TD with a TruGlo Red dot, a flip up 2.5x magnifier, and a flash hider.
This rifle is a pretty accurate plinker and I can hit 12 ga shot shells at 50 yards 80+%.
The entire set up is under 5.5 lbs and trigger is set to 3.5 lbs.
I’ve read through the CMP rimfire handbook and cannot find anything that would prohibit any of the items listed above for the event, especially if allowed to compete in the tactical division.
Do you see anything that would be a show stopper (besides my lack of skill) for the event?
