I've got a Comp M2 I received in a trade at a show a couple months back. Had no battery in it so I couldn't test it and consequently didn't allow much for it. When I try to turn it on, the dimmer knob feels mushy and the dot will only come on if I fool with the dimmer knob, tap wiggle, etc. . . Fire a round and it's off again.
I've tapped the dimmer down a little and it's snugger now but no help, replaced batteries, cleaned the battery compartment, stretched the battery spring. Aimpoint hasn't responded to e-mail and I can't call from work during the day. Anybody got an idea to fix or should I just toss in in the box with other dead stuff??

Re: Comp M2 woes

Aimpoint is normaly pretty good at getting stuff fixed. I have a friend who's M2 stoped working, no red dot at all. He had his local gun store owner call in to customer service, and they had it back to him within a week.

I would keep trying, and Good luck with it.

Lee.
