Again this year we have a lot of great companies stepping up to support the 2013 Sniper's Hide Cup.

So here in this section we want to highlight some of the things these companies are bringing to the table.

As an example, and as things progress we will expand on their participations.

MOD Armory is going being doing a Night Vision Demo as well as Shoot which will allow the winner to get a great prize from them.

They will provide multiple L3 CNVD-LR's Clip on Night Vision Sights for the rifles. We'll have an area nearby with other equipment for people to demo while waiting for their turn to shoot. More than likely it will be a night vision device (PVS-14) to try out. Among much of their other offerings for people to try out.

The competition side of things will be scored separately but the prize will be awesome.

Visit http://www.modarmory.com and support the companies that support the Sniper's Hide Community

We won't be able to come down but we will throw a bunch of Premium AR500 targets on the table for sure! Enjoy!

I want to update this:

This week I spoke with Mile High Shooting, again this year they will be sponsoring the T Shirts for the match. Every competitor gets a T Shirt along with those working the match. Mile High is generously supporting us by sponsoring those shirts.

Also this week, I spoke with Ashbury Precision Ordnance

They are gonna be upgrading a shooter's rifle from a stock Remington 5R to one that will wear an APO Saber Forrst Chassis> They will be doing the work, will be offering the support of their armorers all former 2112s We are hoping one or more or their sponsored shooters will be attending.

B&T Industry has sent forward their Ace of Spade cards over for us to use.

The companies here are the best in the business and there support is greatly appreciate.

MOD Armory & I^2 Technologies want to say thank you to Snipers Hide and Competition Dynamics for allowing us to return to the Snipers Hide Cup to present night vision and thermal devices. Last year we were able to stay late and pass around some of the thermal and night vision devices. This year we are excited to be able to offer a "bonus round" for competitors. This is the opportunity to compare units such as the Knights Armament PVS-30, L3 CNVD-LR and the AN/PVS-27 side by side and pull the trigger! We want individuals to be able to use all of the major units and form their own opinions. Next to the bonus round we will have the following night vision, thermal equipment and accessories on display: PVS-14, PVS-18, PVS-15, BNVD, D740, D760, COTI, Raytheon W1000, L3 X200xp, FLIR M18, and…

Bonus Round Winner: ITT MOD AN/PVS-14 Autogated Pinnacle Kit

Due to the fact that we receive a lot of questions on the best accessories for night vision we will be bringing the following equipment:
Team Wendy Carbon Fiber Helmet
OPSCore Ballistic Helmet
Wilcox NVG Mounts
Norotos NVG Mounts
Luna Optics IR Illuminators
Surefire Weapon light & IR Illuminator
LDI Class 1 IR Lasers
Crimson Trace Class 1 IR Laser

If anyone would like to submit their devices for our consideration please do not hesitate to contact us.

I will be bringing a couple of barrels for the prize table

GAP does it once again and again. I don't think I have been at a major tactical match in which George did not give a rifle. Now get back to building my next rifle LOL The winner of the GAP rifle can have any sling I make no charge. Just contact me after the match.

The companies and amount of prizes being offered is staggering.... Over 130 of the Top Shooters in the US will be attending this field course here out West.

We are truly blessed to have companies of this caliber participate. It's really incredible.

Take a look at the Specs on the McMillan Website McMillan ALIAS STAR Rifle | Standard Tactical Configuration

Man with all these vendors stepping up I think there will be prizes valuing more than the entry fee out to last place!

I know last year nobody went home with less than $1000 retail value in prizes... we are definitely on track for that again.

So even last place (which usually gets a rifle) brought home $1k worth of stuff. So if you finish every event, don't bet DQ'd then chances are you are gonna get a good prize.

Yeah a few friends that competed last year showed me all the stuff they got. I was pretty shocked to say the least. I was going to compete last year but a change in jobs about 2 months before the date left me with not enough vacation time to compete or even make it down to RO. Looking forward to it this year though as a competitor.

Can we get Boeing on the hook? I'd like a helicopter. This is a staggering list in all seriousness. The sponsors are incredible!

Guys

We really appreciate all the sponsors, we are getting stuff in everyday, we'll have a special thank you thread going up after the match.

These companies supporting the event are first rate. Truly the best of the bunch and when it comes time to spend your hard earned money look no further than the list of sponsors.
Enough Said is a small shop out of Alaska supporting the match, we have both big and small companies represented. They all deserve your respect and support.

We'll be attending this year. Planning to stay at the KOA down the road from the range(s).

I'll be bringing a rifle for the prize table. A first for us. Bedded her up yesterday and ran the cleanup work this morning. Floor metal is due to arrive in the morning along with the trigger.

Here's a few in process pics. Frank (Lowlight) I hope you don't mind as I decided to have some fun with the barrel. Better to beg forgiveness than ask permission I guess. :)

Can't wait!

Glad to see that you are going to make it down Chad. Me, Jamie, Levi and Neil will all be down to try to win that bitch. Nice work as usual my friend.

Lowlight- Do you know if the price on those Steiner bino's is $250, or is it just $250 off of price?

The way you wrote it makes it sound like they are $250 for the price, I just want to make sure that's the case before I get my hopes up and put my cash down:)

Thanks Frank. We'll be putting a few more scribbles on it. I worked on the PTG logo last evening. Dave was nice enough to donate a Stealth DBM for this project.

We've got another little deal to show off that we just closed on moments ago. Should be a fun trip!
